Dr. Nancy Burt
Dr. Nancy Burt received her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE in 1995 and completed her neurology residency at the same institution in 1999. During her residency training, she also completed a mini-fellowship in epilepsy at the Bowman Gray Medical School.
Dr. Burt joined the Neurology Center of San Antonio (NCSA) in 2012 and has a general neurology practice as well as special interests in EEG/EMG, Botox treatment, headaches, dementia, and epilepsy. Prior to joining NCSA, she practiced at Neurology Medical Consultants in San Antonio and various other neurology practices in Texas. Prior to her medical training, Dr. Burt also worked as a researcher in Biology, Biochemistry, and Pathology at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND (1987-1990) and at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (1990-1994). She is a co-author in several abstracts and publications regarding the Epstein-Barr Virus in AIDS and Celiac Disease.
Dr. Burt is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, Texas Neurological Society, Bexar County Medical Society, and Texas Medical Association.
